Anita Barone

Barone played Gail Cunningham in The Shoes of Seinfeld season four. She was a chef known as Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. The early 90s saw Barone was a regular on Carol & Company as a co-star along with Carol Burnett. Barone had played the role of the husband of Carol Willick Ross Geller in Friends her first appearance. Jane Sibbett was her replacement when Barone quit Friends to pursue a role which required additional time. Barone was a part of The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the beginning of its run (1995-1996) and in The War at Home from 2005 through the year 2007. Barone played a role as a co-star in Daddio (2000). Barone is also famous for her TV roles on Desperate Housewives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline, In the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2005 for her performance in the show One Last Ride. Barone began her character as the mother to Bella Thorne and CeCe Jones in 2010 - three years following The War at Home concluded it's running. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave, guest starred in the role of J.J. Jones in two episodes.
